Livigno, 19/07/2025 – Once again this year, the Brooks Stralivigno 2025 reaffirmed its status as a landmark event in both the Italian and international running scenes, offering participants an unforgettable day of sport immersed in the elegance of the Alps.
Ideal weather conditions, with mild temperatures perfectly suited for running, accompanied the start of the race, enhancing the course and contributing to a technically rewarding and highly enjoyable experience.
Over 1,100 participants — including many from abroad — gathered in the heart of Livigno, taking part in either the traditional 21 km race or the popular relay format, which was especially appreciated for its spirit of sharing and participation. It was a true journey in close contact with nature, immersing runners in the alpine style and unspoiled beauty that make Livigno a destination like no other. The athletes were met with the warmth of an enthusiastic international crowd, which filled the streets of the town center—lined with exclusive boutiques, trendy venues, and iconic views of Livigno. A vibrant welcome that blended the excitement of sport with the authentic soul of the town, where athletics, lifestyle, and hospitality come together to create a truly unique experience of wellness and leisure. What made the 2025 edition even more special was the live streaming of the entire event, also broadcast by Sport Mediaset, allowing fans from all over the world to follow the race in real time. The coverage, narrated by the iconic duo of Dario Puppo and Massimiliano Ambesi, added depth and excitement to the experience, enhancing every key moment of the course and fully conveying the magic of the event. Many prominent names lined up at the start, including Daniel Antonioli, Ivana Iozzia, Lorenzo Lotti, and local athletes Giulia Murada and Mattia Longa, representing the Livigno Team.
Adding further prestige to the event was the presence of Aleksandr Vinokurov, a legend of international cycling, Olympic gold medalist in London 2012, and winner of the Vuelta a España and several of the sport’s most prestigious classics. The race report highlights the victory of Jachym Kovar from the Mizuno Team in the men’s category, after a long solo breakaway. The Czech athlete crossed the finish line in 1 hour, 19 seconds, and 14 hundredths, ahead of Daniel Antonioli and 1972-born Massimiliano Zanaboni, who took third place.
In the women’s race, an outstanding performance by 1996-born Tereza Hrochova secured a Czech double victory. She dominated her competitors with a phenomenal time of under 1 hour and 28 minutes — over 4 minutes faster than runner-up Ivana Iozzia, with Laura Gotti rounding out the podium. The Brooks Stralivigno once again proves to be much more than just a race — it’s a full-fledged experience. Now in its 25th year, it embodies the sporting spirit and refined elegance of the region. A true celebration, a milestone birthday that began at the prestigious Olympic Preparation Center AQ1816, continued through breathtaking scenery and unforgettable views, and concluded with a dinner featuring Pasta Felicetti and Galletto Vallespluga, the official awards ceremony, and the lively Runners Party hosted by Fabio Rovazzi, who lit up a packed Plaza Placheda ready to dance the night away. An event that blends sport, nature, and entertainment within a setting defined by exclusivity and attention to detail.
This is the true spirit of Livigno: a place where every initiative becomes an experience, and every landscape turns into an emotion.
